As a good start, last week two vessels with Ukrainian corn in total 10765 mt came to 2 different Spanish ports: Huelva and Cartagena.
Spain is a country with a shortage of grain, which buys from Ukraine about 30% of corn imports and 60% of sunflower imports. Ukraine is the main supplier of corn to the Spanish market, followed by Brazil. At present, the Spanish grain markets are in great concern because of the lack of raw materials, primarily due to the fall in yields due to lack of rain.
Due to the well-coordinated active work of MKM Ukraine, we are able to enter the Spanish import market at a high level of quality and in large volumes.
