Against the backdrop of a permanent blockade of Ukrainian agricultural products on the western land borders and periodic attacks on Ukrainian ports in the south of the country, the question of the survival of the agricultural sector is becoming increasingly acute. After all, these challenges affect not only Ukraine, but the whole world. After a short break, Ukrainian agro business started a chain of important business events for communication and business activity.
On February, 2 our MKM Ukraine team visited Agro Ukraine Summit 2024, which was held in Kyiv and brought together leaders of the Ukrainian agricultural community to find answers to key challenges for the country's agricultural production. This was a good opportunity to our Hanna Podliehaieva and Olena Rud to have a useful networking with farmers and representatives of agricultural holdings to listen to their problems and challenges to understand "pain points" of the Ukrainian agriculture market.
Actually, the aim of summit was to discuss essential topics such as analyzing the current situation and summarizing the agricultural sector's work in the 2022-2023 season as well as to highlight the main challenges for the agricultural industry and finding ways to overcome them.
